1958 Chevrolet Apache Short Bed Fleetside Pickup Truck.

 This is the first year Chevrolet offered a Fleetside Bed in its production offerings. This is a solid California truck. It has the BIG Back Window, original 6cyl engine which was rebuilt just a few years ago, and the original wood in the bed. The truck has been used for a work truck. The body is extremely straight for an unrestored pickup truck. The engine runs great. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The interior is rough. The original seat is desperately in need of recovering. The tailgate has been replaced with a GMC tailgate - I do not have the original. The tires are new radials. The wheels are new "Wheel Vintiques" smoothies. The fronts are 7" and the rears are 10". They have been powdercoated red. The hub caps and trim rings are also new.

 This truck drives and runs very well. It is a great example of late 50’s vintage pickup trucks with essentially not body rust.

 This is a solid truck that is respectable enough to use like it is for a shop truck - it is also a candidate for a "rat rod", or obviously an Excellent restoration piece. Hate to sell this, but something has to go.
